Description
These two badges represent the cutting edge of Stone Island’s “Lab” philosophy, using phosphorescent and fluorescent technologies to create reactive, high-visibility effects.
1. The UV-Reactive Glow Badge
This badge appears as a classic Stone Island design but is engineered with high-grade phosphorescent threads.
How it Works: The embroidery UV light sensitive. When moved into total darkness, the compass rose emits a vibrant, neon green glow.
2. Charged badge
This version features a “web” or “grid” style glow that often covers a larger surface area of the badge rather than just the compass embroidery.
How it Works: It is specifically designed to be “charged” by light. The intensity of the glow is directly proportional to the strength of the light source it was last exposed to.
Visual Detail: This often creates a more atmospheric, diffused glow effect, making the entire badge visible in low-light conditions.
